I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about “sponsorship agencies” popping up in the stance sub-culture. These agencies promise you the sun and the stars in exchange for nothing more than your cooperation and a “small filling fee” sent exclusively via Money Order. I decided to do my own investigation into the matter. Read on to read my experience and conclusion on one of the fastest growing scams in the car scene today. Continue reading
Penske Toyota FR-S Meet & Greet
This week I found myself on yet another Wednsday night with nothing to do. Desperately looking for a change of pace I called our newest photographer Jordan Adkins to see if he wanted to meet up and maybe get some food. Little did I know he was on his way to Penske Toyota in Downey for the first ever Scion FR-S meet and greet. Toyotas you say? FR-S you say? I was out the door so fast I forgot my keys… Twice. News: Team Stance Stories
Over the last few months I have been playing around with ideas. Thinking of ways to both expand the reach of the site to new readers and better enjoy my time with this blog, as well as the Staff members. Well after running the idea past a few close friends and staff I decided that the next step should be to form a Stance Stories run house team to enter some of the bigger shows and events in Southern California and possibly beyond. With that said, I would like to introduce you to some of the teams founding members. With that being said, meet the Stance Stories house team. Continue reading

It seemed that all the big guns rolled out for this one… From the biggest dealerships to the brightest stars of the stance sub-culture, everyone united by the Toyota brand name was at this massive event. Read on for my coverage of the mind blowing event that was the 17th annual Toyota-Fest at the port of Queen Mary! Continue reading
Because Ricers #2
Before I begin our second installment of Because Ricers, let me discuss quickly the reception of the last feature of this type I posted. I received everything from giggle filled praise to violent threats. Personally, I don’t care what people think of this feature. It’s sole purpose is to have a little fun, and sometimes warn meet organizers of certain cars/drivers. Much like this feature covering a certain Mitsubishi Evolution VIII that attended the Oko Cafe Meet hosted by team Nuisance. Read on for the possibly controversial contents. Continue reading
Team Nuisance Oko Cafe Meet
Friday nights for me often bring quiet nights in with the girlfriend watching movies on Netflix and eating tons of food. Rarely do I venture out from my cave to attend weekday meets because, lets face it, most of them suck. Such was not the case this past Friday when team Nuisance hosted there meet at the Oko Cafe in Gardena, CA. Whenever you hear the name Nuisance it’s usually associated with praise and recognition so I went into this meet with pretty high expectations, needless to say they were not only met but exceeded. Read on for my full coverage from the team Nuisance meet. Continue reading
