Sundays are usually my day to kick back and relax. Instead Jordan and I found ourselves criss-crossing a string of epic meets culminating in a trip to Ray Ray’s Cafe for the RoyalFlush monthly meet. A lot of rumors have been rising up lately that this meet has become a rice fest and constant pain in the ass from the local PD… Well we can gladly report that this meet is none of the above. Instead it is a fantastic culmination of the greatest cars the our local sub-culture has to offer in a safe, drama free environment. Read on for our full coverage of this compilation of epic ass kick-ery!
Needless to say parking filled up fast. Prompting new comers to make… Well… Questionable parking decisions. Much like this car club above hard parking in the middle of the lot creating quite a head ache to the plazas patrons simply trying to make there way home.
Upon starting my walk I ran into this Subaru Impreza GC8. These cars have maintained an unexplainable beauty and elegance through out the years that no Subaru, or maybe any other car has been able to replicate, and this GC8 was no different… Immaculate with a splash of brilliance? I think so!
I had no idea Tailored had a Mitsubishi EvoX in there line up, and what an Evo it was! Sitting gorgeous on CCW Classics this Evo is definitely a step above the rest of the Evolutions that have started to blend together into a blur for me as of late.
Ahh the Mazda RX-8. I think I spend more time trashing on these cars then I do simply enjoying the beautiful body lines Mazda invested in this car. Yes the motor may not be as great as the 13B. Yes it has 2 more doors than its famous predecessor, and yes for some reason Mazda decided to add 2 more doors to one of Japans most famous sports cars… Yet staring at the this car I didn’t really care. In fact, I caught myself drooling a bit. Derek has done a fantastic job with this build and its obvious I have my foot in my mouth on this one. Well played.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know as much about this gorges Lexus as I should for the number of times I’ve shot photos of it. All I can tell you is this, any VIP enthusiast has there work cut out for them if they want to share the podium with a prize-worthy show car like this. Complete with some absolutely gorgeous fitment and even more beautiful wheels this car is a ridiculous ensemble of gorgeousness`.
This beautiful brown LS is probably the only car I have seen in the VIP scene that catches my eye as often as the Lexus above him. The owner and the build stay true to the vanity plate hanging elegantly over the trunk. This car runs the block just LIKE A BOSS!
This Kouki S14 absolutely blew my mind. Never in my life have I seen a 240 this well executed and finding the owner after the meet was near impossible. However I am glad to announce that owner Arthur and his gorgeous Silvia on Eurolines are the newest members of the Stance Stories Syndicate family!
Ran into this Honda Civic EG parked over by my car on flipped steelies. Although I do have a strong hate for Civic’s something about this car caught my eye and I couldn’t leave it alone. With a near flawless exterior and some gorgeous wheels this car is definitely a cut above any Civic I have EVER seen before.
It’s rare to see an NC Miata in the stance scene but this one on Work Equips blew me away. From the moment he pulled in front of me in the lot I couldn’t stop drooling over the perfect fitment and overall awesomeness that comes with owning a Mazda Miata. Though the NC’s aren’t very impressive… This NC was quite a marvel to behold that night!
It is my personal feeling that most Subaru’s have been done into the ground. Such was not the case with this gorgeous blue blob-eye STi. The Do-Luck trunk is becoming a rare sight and its always nice to see as it accents any look and any color nicely. THis is a perfect example of a big turbo, big stance, and big attention grabbing STi. Subaru enthusiasts take notes.
The meet had a fantastic turn out as cars were still arriving when we began to head out at around 9:30pm. Our photographer Jordan even got blocked in and wasn’t able to leave until well after. No drama, no rice behavior, tons of new friends and a fantastic turnout made for a fantastic way to spend our Sunday.

It was a good meet! We came all the way out from the palm springs area for this meet, sorry for our parking “hard”!
