One year ago a couple of friends sat down with a notepad of ideas and a collection of Canon accessories littering the tabletop. The goal? To create the newest, craziest, and most brutally honest media outlet in the car scene to date. Now, just shy of our one year anniversary we feel we are approaching our goal with great haste. We aren’t the biggest, and we aren’t the greatest, but to say we are the brutally honest would be an understatement… In my eyes 1 of 3 goals reached in just a years time is an achievement to me.
In just a years time we have managed to gain an incredible 700+ consistent readers, many of which we are proud to call friends. This website would have been an absolute dud if people didn’t take to it. So to see the ever growing support is heart warming and extremely humbling. Even now when we sit down to moderate our Facebook, or our Tumblr page a certain excitement comes over us with each new Like and every single new Follower gained. For us, it’s just one more person that shares our passion, and enjoys our the results of our long hours and extremely hard work.
Though we credit the readers and friends to the blogs success we truly would not be a contender if it weren’t for the owners of the stunning cars we have been lucky enough to feature on the website in the past year. Everyone has been so supportive and kind to us in letting a seemingly unknown group of kids bombard there cars with camera flashes, crazy rig setups, and in some cases local police. You have all given us incredible content to present to the masses and though you take pride in having your car recognized on a grander scale… We take even more pride in being privileged enough to be the people who get to present you and your build to the masses.
October 20th celebrates the one year anniversary of this sites conception, and in celebration of this momentous occasion we decided to put on the biggest, baddest car meet we possibly can with all the media presence possible to ensure that each and every single friend, reader, and attendee gets shown at least a hint of the love they’ve shown us in our first year on the circuit.
Our second year will present everyone with more zany antics from the staff as well as giving back to the community on a grander scale than any media outlet before us. We plan on incorporating the community in everything we do, because without you guys, there wouldn’t be a Stance Stories. We are so excited to have the fantastic following we’ve gained in just a years time. We hope for many more new fans, new friends, and long years to come! Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and love! We couldn’t do it without every single one of our friends, staff members, sponsors and readers.
