I’ve been a return attendee of the CSUN meets since there conception. It seems every meet grows greater and greater. Genelle, and the rest of the club put on a fantastic hassle free meet. This one was easily double the size of the last they hosted, and minus a couple of idiots getting ticketed there was no hassle from the local police at all! Not to mention, some of the attendees won a free car wash, much like the Subaru in the cover photo. Continue reading

Stance Stories One Year Anniversary
One year ago a couple of friends sat down with a notepad of ideas and a collection of Canon accessories littering the tabletop. The goal? To create the newest, craziest, and most brutally honest media outlet in the car scene to date. Now, just shy of our one year anniversary we feel we are approaching our goal with great haste. We aren’t the biggest, and we aren’t the greatest, but to say we are the brutally honest would be an understatement… In my eyes 1 of 3 goals reached in just a years time is an achievement to me. Slammed Saturdays Monthly Meet
Those of you who didn’t already know, one night out of the month the parking lot of Target Greatlands in Cerritos, California becomes the flooded with some of the sickest cars the area has to offer. This monthly meet is hosted by your boys here at Stance Stories in conjunction with the folks from Local Origins, and dubbed with the appropriate name of “Slammed Saturdays”. Continue reading
Brandon Burke’s Nissan Silvia 240SX
The Colorado Street Bridge is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Pasadena. Tucked just off the 134 this bridge from the early 20th century is shrouded in legends in myths. Amongst the town folk it has earned the nickname “Suicide Bridge”, rumor has it that phantoms stalk the bridge luring victims to there fate by driving them mad and convincing them to jump from the bridge onto the concrete below. Being the skeptic we are, we decided to go exploring and see if we could arouse one of these phantoms into meeting us face to face. The hair raising results of our adventure are here for your reading within the confines of this article. Continue reading
Summer’s Last Stance
Summer has come to a close and with it the show scene will be slowing down severely until Winter Break rolls around. The days of jumping through 4 major shows a day, and the long exhausting drives through multiple counties will take a back seat to more features and rarer meet coverage from us here at Stance Stories. However, we decided we would end our Summer with a bang with our friends from the Molhulland Auto Club! Continue reading
INFMS by Hellaflush x Canibeat
While Alex and Max were attending the Nisei Import Showoff I attended The Infamous hosted by Canibeat and Hellaflush. After waking up at 8am I quickly got all my camera equipment ready and made the journey out to the Queen Mary Event Park. I arrived to long lines for parking and an even longer line just to get into the event. Once I got in, however, all of it was worth it. Continue reading
Nisei Showoff 2012
We had a long weekend here at Stance Stories. As the blistering hot sun blasted upon our sensitive little heads we scoured the state attending some of the biggest shows of the year finally culminating in a total of 4 shows, 1 feature, and about 20 popsicles between the 4 photographers we had roaming the many various meets this weekend. The first product of our tedious work over the weekend is Neisi Showoff 2012 attended by Alex Royt and our newest lens jockey Max Montague. If you missed Nisei then you can get more than your fair share of the days event in our packed coverage from the event. Continue reading
Spocom 2012
Spocom has always been regarded as one of the highest quality car shows the scene has to offer. Though the last few years it has dipped in attendance, this year things were looking up where the event lacked in the size we’ve grown accustomed to seeing at Spocom’s past it more than made up for with fantastic quality rides, great stage shows, and the biggest vendors in the industry, and some of the most bodacious babes around. Continue reading
Joser Romo’s Audi A3
Chances are if you’ve been to any car shows in the last year or so you’ve probably ran into Joser Romo and his watermelon green Audi A3. Since I got into the Euro scene Joser’s whip has always been a pinnacle for me to shoot towards, as I am sure it has been for many others. Builds that break out of the norm are what Stance Stories is all about. Joser’s build brings that JDM flavor in the Euro scenes form over function mentality, and though some may argue that such an idea is brash and over zealous, trust us when we say Joser has quite the impressive room full of trophies to justify otherwise. Continue reading
